Yeezy 350 V1

The origins of the Yeezy 350 V1

The great German brand was born of a dispute between the two Dassler brothers. The brothers, Adolfe and Rudolf, had a joint business, but following an altercation, they split up. Rudi Dassler, from his nickname, created the well-known brand Puma, and Adi Dassler, from his nickname, created Adidas.

His brand name is a contraction of the first syllable of his nickname Adi and the first syllable of his surname Das, giving rise to the Adidas brand. Adidas was founded in 1949, and has always strived to create innovations in the pursuit of sporting performance.

Specializing in athletics, Adidas was first known for its sporty pairs of sneakers. They soon began sponsoring athletes at the Olympic Games. What propelled the popularity of the German company.

Adidas from the racetrack to the street

Faced with this craze, Adidas focused on streetwear while retaining its sporting DNA. This was followed by clothing collections Adidas and sneakers Adidas designed for city strolls. One example is Adidas Ultra Boost 4.0 Running White, which perfectly combines sport and fashion.

With a view to developing its international fashion activities, Adidas will start collaborating with other brands and influencers.

Pairs such as the Adidas Superstar Bape ABC Camo Green are set to hit the market. This model takes the style of the classic Adidas superstar, while adding the brand's famous Bape colorway, or the Adidas Superturf Adventure Sean Wotherspoon Jiminy Cricket, which mixes the worlds ofAdidas and Sean Wotherspoon.

The story of Kanye West and Adidas for the Yeezy

The German company is going to poach the American Kanye West and his brand Yeezy, from its eternal rival, Nike. Adidas will give the rapper carte blanche to release a complete range of shoes and clothing. Together, they will develop a new range Yeezy, comfortable shoes with an original design.

Kanye West will release the first model of his Yeezy brand at Adidas in 2015 with the Yeezy 750. A long line of shoes based more or less on the 750 line will follow from this classic.

The Yeezy Boost 350 V1, the most coveted sneaker ever

The hype was already building around these pairs, and in 2015, Kanye took a few elements from the 750 to give birth to the first Yeezy 350. At the time, it was a veritable tidal wave that swept through the sneaker world. Adidas didn't know it yet, but he had just created a mini-revolution. With their lottery system, the shoes were snapped up in just a few minutes.

The Yeezy 350 V1 were an immediate success, available in a range of colors, with the Turtle Dove and Moonrock models still the best-known today.

The Yeezy 350 range was to prove very popular with both men and women. They take their technology from the world of sport, adopting a boost sole specially created and designed for running. Version 1, with its boost soles, snake-like silhouette and pattern, is instantly recognizable.

The 350 V1 were so popular that Yeezy decided to release a new model: the Yeezy 350 V2

Adidas kanye West and Kim Kardashian 's notoriety at the time was used to propel these models. Worn by the two stars, this pair of sneakers Adidas, saw its popularity soar. The Yeezy V1 owes its success to the former star-couple, who gave this shoe an ultra-stylish image.

Before Yeezy Day 2022, there were many rumors about a possible restocking of the legendary Turtle Dove. But on August 3, 2022, we were surprised to see them appear again, along with the Yeezy 700 and some Yeezy Slide flip-flop models on the famousAdidas Confirmed app.
