The Nike brand was founded by Bill Bowerman and Philip Knight. These two running enthusiasts started when Bill was a running coach at the University of Oregon and Philip was an accounting student. In the old days, Phil brought Tiger shoes from Japan that Bill offered to students. Gradually the activity became successful and they created the company Blue Ribbon Sport (BRS) to gain more notoriety. When the Japanese decide themselves to sell their shoe in the United States, the two partners turn to creating a pair. BRS will change its name to Nike , after a Greek goddess. From now on, the Nike company will produce sports shoes in several sporting disciplines, starting with running.
The Nike Dunk Low NBA 75th Anniversary Brooklyn Nets is dressed in a gray leather base, with blue and white overlays. The laces, midsole and outsole have the same color code. The other striking detail of this sneaker is the lace jewel stamped with a diamond.
