Jordan Brand is a subsidiary of the Nike company created in 1997 with the legendary basketball player Michael Jordan . It all started in the 1980s, when David Falkes, MJ's agent, was looking for an equipment supplier for his colt. The latter was especially interested in Adidas ' low shoes, but the German firm did not want a full-back player. For its part, Nike is betting everything on MJ and offering him an interesting financial offer. Encouraged by his mother and under the leadership of Philip Knight, Mr Jordan ended up signing with the Swoosh brand.
