The Converse Chuck 70 x CDG Play partnership
The Converse Comme des Garçons trainers are the result of the collaboration between the famous Converse brand and the Japanese fashion label Comme des Garçons founded by stylist Rei Kawakubo. A partnership that propelled the Chuck Taylor 70 to the height of demand. The simple design model has a red CDG heart logo at the ankle designed by New York artist Filip Pagowski . However, they retain their classic soles from the 70s.
The Converse Comme des Garçons Haute range
The Converse x CDG Play collab really appealed to trainers addicts, particularly thanks to its high-top sneaker models also nicknamed high. In fact, the brand first launched the model in two versions, the famous Converse Comme des Garçons Noir Haute as well as the white color . The different models of Converse Chuck Taylor 70s Comme des Garçons have been designed to be worn by both men and women. A classic design with a plain fabric covering the shoe as well as traditional white laces. The shoe is based on a very comfortable sole. Recently the brand released a “Polka Dot” polka dot model.
The Converse CDG Play Basse range
The Japanese house Comme des Garçons has thought of everything by releasing a low-cut collection. A range which therefore adapts to all seasons, notably the low black CDG version . The success of these collections can be explained by the colors that are out of the ordinary. A touch of Comme des Garcons fantasy applied to the Classic Chuck style and you get the new success: the Converse Comme des Garcons lineage.
Release of the Converse CDG Bright line
In April 2020 the CDG brand and Converse joined forces and launched a line of colorful trainers with the Converse Comme des Garçons Bright Pink , Blue and Green models. The basketball model takes the shape of a classic Converse with the Chuck Taylor 70 sole , white laces, canvas tongue and the CDG Play brand logo. A very colorful range perfect for summer with pink, blue and green colors .
Heart Print Pack released
The collaborations continue, the Japanese label Comme des Garçons and the shoe giant Converse announce the release of the Heart Print Pack for May 15, 2020. On this very designer pack, the pairs of sneakers take up the codes of the very first collection but with a more complete style. In particular, we find white hearts all around the famous CDG red heart logo . These Converse Chuck 70s are available in a high version in a black color with the Converse Comme des Garçons Black Heart Print model as well as in a cream white color . A range that all trainers enthusiasts will love thanks to these new little printed hearts designed by Pagowski Filip.
