The Air Force 1 Mid : A hybrid trainer
The Air Force 1 Mid is a pair of trainers that could be called… hybrid! It combines a mix between the Low and High model. The result ? A unique sneaker that almost no longer even resembles the classic AF1 model that we know and which is so sought after by the trainers community.
Originally, the Air Force 1 when it was released in 1982 was a High model, designed in 1982 by Bruce Kilgore. Shortly after, the Mid and Low versions were released to complete the collection. Today, this trainer has become legendary with its perforations located on the forefoot, its high-top look as well as its Nike swoosh placed all around the heel. Over time, it has also earned the reputation of being one of the most comfortable pairs of trainers ever created.
The high upper and the strap above the tongue both provide solid support and increased foot stability. Trainer adapted to the practice of sport, its perforations on the upper increase the breathability of the shoe, while its thick sole contributes to the comfort of the pair.

If there is one collaboration that was a great success in 2018, at the time of its release, it was the one between Supreme , Nike and the American basketball league NBA . This collection of two trainers , an Air Force 1 NBA Supreme available in its white and black Nike Mid version, can legitimately be described as unique. It is also complemented by jerseys, shorts and warm-up jackets using the same theme and design.
The AF1 Mid features several logos from NBA teams such as the Lakers, the Spurs and the New York Knicks. Please note that it's all a question of details for this trainer ! The Eastern Conference logos are placed on the right side of the shoe and those of the Western Conference on the left side.
Obviously, the classic Swoosh is present in its usual place on the shoe, and several Supreme brandings are placed on the strap, the toebox or even on the insoles.
