Simon Porte Jacquemus: young designer with big ambitions
Already very young, the designer Jacquemus was already shining in the world of haute couture: indeed, it was at the age of 19 that Simon launched his first brand, which bears his name. This name was chosen by the designer to honor his mother, who died a few years earlier after an accident
To make his place, the young Simon decided in 2010 to wear his pieces by models ... in the middle of the streets. And if the approach may seem surprising, it was able to make its effect with the greatest. Indeed, shortly after these unusual performances, the successes follow: in 2012, he gives his first fashion show at the Fashion Week before becoming one of the holders of the LVMH prize in 2015.
